This week we have had much nicer weather for walking to work, makes the temptation of the bus less. Difficult to beat Aberdeen when the sun shines off the granite.

My first two work from home days were a bit of a cheat as The Beast from the East kept me at home but I avoided taking my car over to Millport yesterday and car shared with a colleague instead. Great view from the ferry.

Walked to a different bus stop this morning, was nicer weather and I was earlier for work than I have been!

Cycling to work - always a great start to the day, beats being stuck in a jam.

Went for a 2 and a half mile walk on the coastal path on the 11th.

Could this be spring at last ? nice cycle in this morning

Cycling to work was lovely this morning! I avoided the traffic and I feel great!

Spring weather rolling in, was nice and warm this morning!

Not quite so sunrisey this morning, but a pleasant pedal and at least it wasn't raining or snowing.

Last week I could have slid to work, there was enough snow and ice. This week it has been trudging to work in the rain mostly. Still on a bright sunny day the granite buildings in Aberdeen do shine so it is worth it.

I'm on holiday next week. Cycling in the Yorkshire dales should be slightly less chilly so come on, catch up!

What a nice clear blue sky today sun out hopefully will be the same at the weekend.

First time cycling the whole way home on Wednesday this week -so lovely to ride in the sun, without worrying about freezing fingers, toes and sliding on ice!

Well the train was 10 minutes late and I was nearly taken out by a teenager on a bmx but I got here feeling energised!

Travelling by bus was stress free, I could read my book and didn't have to worry about the pot holes! Bit expensive though

Aaaargh! I want to get back on my bike but the last week has just been too dodgy for both of us to cycle as the edge of the roads are still quite restricted with snow and ice in places, but we have been car sharing at least. Let's have a challenge in June next year when (maybe) there will be no snow! Bob F :)

09-03-18 first cycle commute to work this year. Weather was good, dry and bright just a little windy. I really enjoyed it. Not sure the cycle home will be as much fun but at least I have made a start.

Time is of the essence, and so the underground won this morning and usually does because I can't get out of bed/ out the door on time... I walked home today though and I feel so much better for it. It clears my mind walking through the park :)

Nice wee puncture this morning (rear wheel of course!) meant a stop off at a few garages en route for some air... bring out the Swarfega!!

Need car most days for work. However, in last couple of weeks due to heavy snow, have used bus, train and worked from home when no public transport available. Must think about doing this more often.
